Combat Sports and Martial Arts Equipment – Dimasport Tatami, Mats and Protective Gear
The practice of combat sports requires equipment that is safe, durable, and suited to the intensity of training. To meet the needs of clubs, dojos, communities, and schools, Dimasport offers a complete range of mats, tatami, combat surfaces, wall protections, and accessories dedicated to martial arts and related disciplines.
A French manufacturer for nearly 60 years, Dimasport produces a large part of its foam-based equipment in its own workshops — mats, surfaces, landing areas, and wall protections — while carefully selecting other products, such as certain types of tatami, from partners that meet the same standards of quality and safety.
Tatami and Combat Surfaces for Dojos and Specialized Training Areas
The floor is the central element of any martial arts training facility. Whether for judo, karate, wrestling, taekwondo, or MMA, the safety and comfort of practitioners depend largely on the quality of the chosen surface.
Judo and Wrestling Tatami – Stability and Safety
Dimasport offers a selection of tatami known for their suitable density, durability, and surface texture providing optimal grip. Some models are made in our workshops, while others come from specialized manufacturers. All of them meet the essential criteria for martial arts: impact absorption, floor stability, training comfort, and long-lasting performance.
Multisport Mats and Surfaces – Modularity and Versatility
For multi-use spaces or rooms hosting various disciplines, we offer interlocking mats, reversible surfaces, and modular solutions that make it easy to create a training zone quickly.
Manufactured with high-density foam and covered with M2 fire-retardant PVC, these products offer excellent durability, easy maintenance, and optimal safety for practitioners.
Wall Protection and Safe Space Design
Safety in a combat sports area goes beyond the floor: protecting walls and structural elements is essential to prevent injuries.
Wall Protection – Shock Absorption and Durability
Dimasport manufactures its wall protections in-house, using dense foam and phthalate-free PVC coverings rated M2 fire-retardant. They effectively absorb impacts and secure areas close to walls, whether in a dojo, multisport hall, or school gymnasium.
Post Protector Pads – Essential Safety
To complete the setup, we provide protective solutions for both indoor and outdoor posts. Designed to withstand intensive use, they help reduce accidental impacts and adapt easily to the configuration of any space.
A Committed and Experienced French Manufacturer
For nearly six decades, Dimasport has relied on recognized expertise in designing foam equipment and sports mats.
Our workshops in Seine-et-Marne oversee every step of the manufacturing process for internally designed products: foam cutting and assembly, cover production, and rigorous quality control. This craftsmanship ensures excellent durability and maximum safety for users.
Products not manufactured directly in our workshops — such as certain tatami models or supplementary accessories — are selected with the same high standards of durability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Equipment Designed for Clubs, Schools, and Public Facilities
Dimasport equipment is designed to withstand the intensive use typical of martial arts clubs, municipal dojos, schools, sports associations, and multi-purpose halls.
Our mats and surfaces are lightweight, easy to handle, and quick to set up, allowing rooms to be adapted for different groups and disciplines. Our wall protections ensure a secure environment, essential during fast movements, groundwork, or accidental contact with structural elements.
